Cikoya Station, also called Stasiun Cikoya in Bahasa Indonesia, is a commuter station located in Cikasungka, Solear, Tangerang, Banten.

To place its located into context, it is situated about 59 km southwest of the Monas. Therefore, it is not particular close to Jakarta.

Commuter Line Information for Cikoya Station

Cikoya is a stop on the Green Commuter Line which has trains running from Rangkasbitung Station (about 85 km southwest of the Monas) and Tanah Abang Station (about 3 km southwest of the Monas).

If start your journey at Tanah Abang Station, then Cikoya Station is the 15th station along the line.

It is much closer to the Rangkasbitung Station end of the line. Therefore, if you travel from Rangkasbitung it is the 3rd station on the Green Line.

Under most circumstances a trip on the Green Line from Tanah Abang all the way southwest to Cikoya Station should take you about 1 hour and 15 minutes with the least number of stops.

If you get on the train with more frequent stops you can expect it to take about 1 hour and 30 minutes which will also depend on the number of passengers getting on and off of the train.  

Transfer Information for Cikoya Station

Due to Cikoya Station’s location far outside of Jakarta, don’t expect to find another commuter line nearby!

To get to the nearest transit station (to the west in the direction of Jakarta) you will have to travel northwest on the Green Line to Tanah Abang Station.

This will connect you with the Yellow (Bogor-Jatinegara) Line.

There are some interesting destinations to both the north and south of Tanah Abang Station.

To the north you can access areas such as Kota Tua, Ancol, Mangga Dua, Pasar Senen and Jatinegara.

Go south  to travel to Bogor, Nambo and Depok. Expect busy trains when Jakarta’s streets are also busy!

If you begin your trip at Cikoya Station and you are travelling towards Tanah Abang on the Green Line, the next station you will come across is Tigaraksa Station.

The distance between these two stations is approximately 2.6 km.

If you decide to travel from Cikoya Station towards Rangkasbitung Station, the next closest station will be Maja.

The distance between Cikoya and Maja Station is about 1.8 km.

According to these distances, you can expect it to take slightly longer (1-2 minutes) to get to Tigaraksa opposed to Maja if you are beginning at Cikoya Station.

What is located around Stasiun Cikoya?

Cikoya Station is not remotely close to central Jakarta.

Therefore, if you are visiting this area, you should expect very little infrastructure or development. The area around Cikoya mainly consists of open green space and farmland. You will find some small pockets of houses, but not much else in terms of restaurants or stores.

Also expect it to be challenging to find hotels in this rural area around Stasiun Cikoya.

You might want to consider staying closer to Jakarta where there are more hotels with better service standards. Some properties that you might want to consider include:

• Hotel Santika Premiere ICE – BSD City
• Hotel Santika BSD City Serpong
• The Grantage.

All three of these properties are at least an hour drive or more away from the station. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many places to stay in the direct area around the station.
