Cicayur Station is a stop on the Green Commuter Line.

This line services trains from Tanah Abang Station (3 km southwest of the Monas) all the way to Rangkasbitung Station (about 85 km southwest of the Monas).

Cicayur is the 9th stop on the line if you are starting your journey at Tanah Abang.

If you are beginning your journey at Tanah Abang, it should take you about 48 minutes to reach Cicayur Station or vice versa.

Transfer Information for Cicayur Station

Cicayur Station is quite far outside of Jakarta, therefore, there are no other commuter lines close by.

This means that you will have to travel to Tanah Abang Station to reach the next transfer station.

Once you arrive at Tanah Abang, it’s possible to transfer to the Yellow (Bogor-Jatinegara) Line.

The Yellow Line is popular with train passengers because it services trains to destinations south of Jakarta such as Bogor, Nambo and Depok.

Many locals commute to and from these stations on a daily basis for work commitments.

Take the Yellow Line north to pass by Kota Tua, Ancol, Mangga Dua, Pasar Senen and Jatinegara. These are some of Jakarta’s most interesting areas.

It is safe to say that the Yellow Line is one of the most strategic and convenient in Jakarta. Just be prepared for very busy trains during peak travel times. They can get really jammed.

If you start at Cicayur Station and travel on the Green Line towards Jakarta (Tanah Abang) the next closest station that you will reach is Cisauk.

The distance between Cicayur and Cisauk is roughly 2.5 km.

If you are moving in the opposite direction on the Green Line towards Rangkasbitung Station, the closest station to Cicayur is Parung Panjang.

The distance between these two stations is quite a bit farther (almost 6 km in total).

Needless, to say it will take you more time to reach Parung Panjang opposed to Cisauk.

What is located around Stasiun Cicayur?

Stasiun Cicayur is far outside of Jakarta, so don’t expect too many tourist attractions in this area.

What you will find though are some patches of greenery and farmland around the station.

There is actually more development surrounding its neighbouring stations such as Parung Panjang and Cisauk.

If you are at Cicayur Station and in the mood for shopping then you might want to go to Aeon Mall BSD City.  It is located beside the Indonesian Convention Exhibition.

Due to the lack of development directly around this station, there aren’t very many accommodation choices either!

Most of the hotels in this area are located about 5-10 km northeast of the station. Walking from the station probably won’t be an option for you.

One of the closest (and best) properties in the vicinity of the station is the 4-star Hotel Santika Premiere ICE – BSD City. It is about 5.3 km away from the station which should take you about 15 minutes to drive there.

Some other respectable hotel options include:

• Grand Zuri BSD – City (10.3 km/ 23 minutes driving)
• The Grantage (8.6 km/ 20 minutes driving)
• Hotel Santika BSD City Serpong (9.4 km/ 22 minutes driving).

These all receive positive guest review scores for the 3-4-star range, but if you are looking for something more upscale or luxurious, you will have to travel closer to central Jakarta.
