Commuter Line Information for Cisauk Station
Cisauk Station is part of the Green Commuter Line.
It services trains from Rangkasbitung Station (about 85 km to the southwest of central Jakarta) to Tanah Abang Station (the closest station on the Green Line to the central area of Jakarta).
If you start at Tanah Abang Station and you want to travel to Cisauk Station expect it to take around 45 minutes to get there.
Cisauk Station is the 8th stop on the Green Line if you start at Tanah Abang.
Transfer Information for Cisauk Station
It isn’t possible to transfer to another commuter line when you stop at Cisauk Station.
Since it’s so far outside of Jakarta’s city centre, there simply isn’t another commuter line nearby.
You can, however, transfer to the Yellow (Bogor-Jatinegara) Line by travelling northeast on the Green Line to Tanah Abang Station. This will take around 45 minutes of travel time.
From there passengers usually head south to destinations such as Bogor, Nambo and Depok or north to Kota Tua, Ancol and Mangga Dua.
Staying on the Yellow Line all the way to east of central Jakarta will enable passengers to visit popular market areas such as Jatinegara and Pasar Senen.
Although the commuter can save you time during peak rush hour times, be prepared for very busy trains as well.

If you begin at Cisauk the next closest station east is Serpong Station.
The distance between Cisauk and Serpong is only 1.8 km.
Alternatively, if you are moving in the opposite direction on the Green Line towards Rangkasbitung Station the closest station to Cisauk is Cicayur Station.
The distance between these two stations is slightly farther (2.5 km).
It will take a bit longer for you to reach Cicayur Station opposed to Serpong.
What is located around Stasiun Cisauk?
Stasiun Cisauk is quite far from central Jakarta.
Therefore, don’t expect world class attractions in this area.
Very few tourists make it this far outside of Jakarta.
There are some very large residential complexes in this area, and more being constructed at the time of writing.
There is a new market called Pasar Modern Intermoda BSD that is worth checking out. It is only about 850 meters north of Cisauk Station. Therefore, you can either walk there or drive there from the station. Either way, it should take you less than 10 minutes to get to the market.
If you have children you might want to consider going to a waterpark about 1.5 km south of the station called Saiji Waterbom.
If has some pools, small water slides and open spaces for family recreation activities.
Nature and exercise enthusiasts can check out Trek Sepeda Danau Jabon. This is an outdoor path that is surrounded by nice greenery for exercising. It is about 2.8 km southwest of Stasiun Cisauk.
To the north of the station there are some noteworthy landmarks such as the Indonesian Convention Exhibition building and the Aeon Mall BSD City. They are both approximately 3 km north of the station.
With the new residential and commercial developments in this area you can expect the number of accommodation choices to continue to increase over the upcoming years.

Most hotels are currently in the vicinity of the Indonesian Convention Exhibition and malls such as Aeon Mall BSD City and Teras Kota.
