Kramat Station is a stop on Jakarta’s Yellow commuter Line that connects Jatinegara Station in east Jakarta, with Bogor, Depok and Nambo in the south.

Kramat Station is the third stop on the Yellow Line north of Jatinegara Station.

Transfer Information for Kramat Station

Since Kramat Station is only located on one of Jakarta’s commuter lines, it is not possible to transfer at this station.

If you do need to transfer to either the Red Line or the Blue Line it is the most practical to travel two stations south to Jatinegara Station. Once you are at Jatinegara Station you can change to the Blue Commuter Line which services trains to Kota Tua (in the north) and Bekasi (in the south).  

If you want to transfer to the Red Commuter Line or reconnect with the Yellow Line, then go to Jatinegara Station and then travel west one station to Manggarai Station.

From Manggarai Station it is possible to then travel directly south to Bogor, Depok and Nambo.

The direct area around Kramat Station has some interesting local markets to explore that are close to the station.  

Arguably the most interesting is Pasar Pramuka (also called Pasar Burung Pramuka). This is a pet market that specializes in birds. Although animal activists might not find it particularly interesting, other visitors probably will.

Pasar Pramuka is only 700 meters away from Kramat Station. This should take you under 10 minutes to walk there from the Station.

Even closer to Kramat Station is Pasar Genjing. This is an interesting little traditional market that is only 600 meters away from the Station which is only about a 7 minute walk away.

There is also a small shopping mall called Plaza Kenara Mas that is 1.2 kilometers away from Kramat Station.  If you are going to walk there it will take you around 15 minutes, whereas driving should take you only around 10 minutes.
