Pondok Cina Station is a stop on two of Jakarta’s popular commuter lines, the Yellow Line and the Red Line.

The Yellow Line connects passengers from Jatinegara Station to Bogor, Depok and Nambo in the south.

The Red Line travels from Jakarta Kota Station in Kota Tua to Bogor Station in the south.

Aside from the Station’s proximity to the university, it is also very close to one of Depok’s best hotels – The Margo Hotel.

The Margo Hotel is only 500 meters away from Pondok Cina Station and therefore you can easily walk there in under 10 minutes. This property is currently listed as a 4-star hotel by reputable booking websites.

Once your accommodation is sorted near Pondok Cina Station you will also be happy to hear that there are two shopping malls also within walking distance of Pondok Cina Station: Depok Town Square and Margo City Depok.

Both of these are really close to the station.

Depok Town Square is only 400 meters away (less than a five minute walk).

Margo City Depok is slightly farther at 650 meters (roughly an 8 minute walk).

Needless to say, this part of Depok is convenient if you can get a room at the Margo Hotel.
