Tanjung Priok Station, also locally referred to as Stasiun Priok in Bahasa Indonesia, is a commuter station which is located about 11 km northeast of the Monas – the National Monument of Indonesia.

Commuter Line Information for Tanjung Priok Station

Tanjung Priok is the terminal station on the Pink Line that regularly services trains from Jakarta Kota Station (the other terminal station Kota Tua) to Tanjung Priok.

Tanjung Priok is not a transfer station.

You cannot directly access the other commuter lines at this station. Instead, you can travel two stations west on the Pink Line to Kampung Bandan, or three stations west to Jakarta Kota.

The closest transfer station to Tanjung Priok is Kampung Bandan. 

Once you reach Kampung Bandan station you can transfer between the Pink and Yellow Line. The Yellow Line services trains from Jatinegara Station to destinations south of Jakarta such as Bogor, Nambo and Depok.

An alternative transfer station is Jakarta Kota Station.

Unlike Kampung Bandan, Jakarta Kota allows passengers to transfer between three different lines: the Red, Pink and Blue. You can take the Red Line to Bogor. Alternatively, take the Blue Line to destinations such as Bekasi and/or Cikarang.

Since Tanjung Priok Station is one of the two terminal stations on the Pink Line, it only has one neighbouring station – Ancol.

What is located around Stasiun Tanjung Priok?

Stasiun Tanjung Priok is location near the cargo port of Jakarta, area around the station isn’t well known for sightseeing.

To the north and west of the station is the busy port area. To the south and east of the station you will mainly find residential space with some small local shops and restaurants.

Surprisingly, there are two small public parks within walking distance of Stasiun Tanjung Priok.

The closest park, Taman Bahari Priok, is located only about 50 meters to the east of the station.

The second park, Taman Gorontalo, is about 500 meters southeast of the station.

There aren’t too many good hotels in the direct vicinity around Stasiun Tanjung Priok.

Jakarta Kota Station, which is three stations east of Tanjung Priok, is the gateway to Kota Tua.
