To help you place its location into context, it is approximately 15 km southwest of the Monas – Indonesia’s National Monument. It is about 13 km southwest of Bundaran Hotel Indonesia – the other terminal station on the  M1-North South MRT Line.

The M1-North South MRT Line is the first one ever constructed in Jakarta, and Indonesia for that matter.  It consists of 13 stations, 6 of which are built underground and 7 above ground.

The southernmost 7 stations are above ground, and this includes Lebak Bulus MRT Station. The M1-North South MRT Line spans a total distance of 15.7 km from central Jakarta to South Jakarta.

Only about 200 meters west of the station is Poins – a shopping and residential complex that features affordable stores and services.

North of Lebak Bulus MRT Station is Carrefour Lebak Bulus. It is also only a few hundred meters away from the station. It has a large grocery store and also five or six restaurants to choose from. There is a new kids arcade area there as well that was recently opened.

The largest shopping center relative to Lebak Bulus MRT Station is Pondok Indah Mall.  

Pondok Indah Mall is quite large with two cinemas, many restaurants and an outdoor waterpark for families. It is around 4 km north of Lebak Bulus. Expect it to take you anywhere from 10 minutes (in light road traffic) to 25 minutes (heavy traffic) to drive from Lebak Bulus MRT Station to Pondok Indah Mall.
