Commuter Line Information for Juanda Station

Juanda is the 5th station on the Red Line which runs from Jakarta Kota Station in the north to Bogor in the south.

It is also part of the Blue Line which runs from Jakarta Kota Station in the north to Bekasi and Cikarang in the southeast.

The first 8 commuter stations south of Jakarta Kota are shared between both the Blue and Red Line. Therefore, if you travel close to Jakarta Kota it won’t really matter which line you are on!

It will matter, however, when you travel past Manggarai Station. This is where the lines separate. Be sure to check which terminal station your train is going to stop at before getting on!

Stasiun Juanda is only about 1.5 kilometers north of the Monas. Therefore, it is close to some of Jakarta’s most popular museums, galleries and markets.

Juanda Station is located in Pasar Baru which is a famous area of Jakarta known for its busy traditional markets.

Staying near Juana Station is a wise decision if you want to do some shopping while still being close enough to the attractions in central Jakarta which surround the Monas.  

Pasar Baru, one of the most famous markets in the city is only 600 meters away from Juanda Station.  Walking from the Station to Pasar Baru should only take you about 8 minutes.

Similarly, it is possible to walk from Juanda Station to Jakarta Cathedral and Istiqlal Mosque in 7 minutes as they are only 600 meters away.

It is also possible to walk to the Monas (the National Monument) in under 20 minutes from Juanda Station.
